I’m a few days behind on the 100 day project but that’s ok! Reminding myself this is a marathon, not a sprint, and what I want is to create a steady habit of creating art for the sake of art and not just for products.
The San Francisco garter snake is one of my all time favourites - and yes they really are this colour! Sadly their colourations are what makes them so prized and they’re often illegally collected for private collections. Unfortunately this collection, plus degradation of their wetlands habitat and lack of food means the snakes are now endangered.
