100 Day Project Day 19 (Giant Manta Ray)
Reposting day 19 as a post because
A) I forgot that reels won’t be found in the hashtag cause it’s so small
B) I didn’t get to share facts in the description - anyone else find long descriptions on reels hard to read?
C) it gets my grid back to the pretty reel-image-reel-image pattern and it makes my brain happy 🤣
The giant manta ray (or giant oceanic manta ray) is the largest of all rays and can grow up to 29 feet across their wingspan! There are actually two species of manta rays and they were only reclassified in 2008. There’s the giant oceanic manta ray and the reef manta ray. Sadly both species are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN due to overfishing.
