100 Day Project Day 35: Bargibant's Seahorse
35/100 - Bargibant’s Seahorse
What is it about pygmy seahorses that are just so cute! I couldn’t honestly draw these all day!
The Bargibant’s seahorse, also known as the Common pygmy seahorse, is the smallest seahorse species known to science at only 2cm tall! They can be found in two morphs, the pink/red/white colour action and this pale yellow/orange combo! They’re masters of camouflage as their markings and bumps (known as tubercles) blend in with the soft corals that they call home.
