100 Day Project Day 46 : Chinstrap penguin
46/100 - Chinstrap penguin
The name "chinstrap" comes from the distinctive black band that looks just like a strap around the penguins' chin! They're also known as "ringed penguins". They can be found in huge colonies on land however their population is declining, possibly due to climate change affecting krill populations, their main food source.
