It's sickening isn't it? I know that sometimes I look at the amount of plastic in packaging and I despair because it feels like there's no way out.
That's why, from the very start of running Hatchling Makes, I was determined to not use any single use plastic if at all possible. All of my packaging is recyclable (even down to the paper tape I use to seal the boxes which is biodegradable!). I've always used acid free tissue paper to pack up large orders and cardboard boxes to keep your items nice and safe! The only plastic that I use is a substitute made from corn starch and is compostable and biodegradable that I use to keep your prints/sticker packs safe and for packing cards for markets (though I'm thinking I might give that up soon too!).
