52 Species: Mute Swan
Time for another instalment of Wildlife Wednesday!
This year I’m committing to the 52 species project as created by @the_little_oak_learning to learn more about a different species every week. I’ve decided to learn more about the wildlife that lives in London!
I have to admit I never realised that there was more than 2 swan species that lived in London. White swans and black swans were all I knew 🙈 just goes to show there’s always more to learn!
Still they’re one of my all time favourite birds as I have lots of fond memories of feeding the ducks and swans when I was a kid. Did you know how many swan species lived in London?
