It’s Wednesday so time for another dose of #wildlifewednesday! Today’s animal is the rose-ringed parakeet, the only naturalised parrot in the UK!
There’s tons of legends as to how these parrots came to be flying wild and free in London - one theory is that they were props in a movie and once filming ended they were set loose. Though I agree with the theory that they are probably the descendants of pets that either escaped or were let loose. Have you seen these beautiful birds in London?
