Bumblebee Conservation Trust

Bumblebee Conservation Trust

It's June!! Summer is here (well at least today in the UK, what on earth is with this crazy weather patterns?!). And I'm super excited to announce the charity I've chosen for June's fundraising through Work For Good which is *drumroll*

Now I know you guys know how important bees are in our ecosystem so I'm not going to repeat facts you already know. But Bumblebee Conservation Trust are doing so many incredible things like saving the Great Yellow Bumblebee (google it, it's cute!) and a reintroduction project for short-hair bumblebees. You can also get involved by going on Bee Walks and they have an excellent "bee kind" tool on their website so you can find out how bee friendly your garden is! Ours definitely isn't as good as it could be (we only scored 16450 points) but it's been a good wake up call as some plants I thought were bee friendly aren't as good as others I've been turning away from in the garden centre! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀
As always 10% from every sale will go towards this amazing charity. For May we managed to raise £21.40 for Elephant Family which is amazing - let's do the same for the bees!

Do you get bees in your garden? What are they attracted to? Our honeysuckle bush is bee central in the summer!
