Comet Moth

Did you know that the comet moth (also known as the Madagascar moon moth) is thought to use it's long tail to deter predators? ⁠

Apparently their tails confuse the bats' echolocation and causes bats to attack the tails rather than the body of the moth itself - so it can get away!⁠
