Draw With Tash : Smooth Hammerhead

Draw With Tash : Smooth Hammerhead

It's Sunday which means it's time for another #DrawWithTash post!

This week's prompt was the smooth hammerhead shark. Smooth hammerheads make fleeting visits to the UK waters during their migrations and can sometimes be spotted off the coast of Cornwall. They're one of the largest of the 9 hammerhead shark species growing up to 5m (16ft).

Sadly smooth hammerheads are often caught both as bycatch and intentionally for their fins and oil throughout the world. They're classed as vulnerable by the IUCN and their populations are decreasing.
