Day 3 of #endangeredanimalsweek - the Amur leopard! Just a pencil sketch today as a) I find big cats so hard to draw and b) I’m not feeling too great so don’t really want to hunch over my desk as I paint.
Amur leopards are a rare subspecies of leopard found in the Far East of Russia and parts of China. For years they’ve been hunted for their beautiful fur but thanks to conservation efforts in the last 3 years numbers have steadily grown with hope for the future of the species.
