It's been a couple months since I last did a little intro post! Hi everyone! Thanks for being here with me in this little slice of the internet. I'm Tash, the one woman band behind Hatchling Makes which I've been running for over 4 years now!
Hatchling Makes started after I left my previous career in theatre and wanted to work for myself again (I used to freelance right at the start of my career!). In 2018 whilst doing the 100 Day Project I decided to embroider a different endangered animal each day and learnt about SO many animals I didn't even realise were endangered - like giraffes!
So now I illustrate loads of animals - some you may know, some that may be new - to raise awareness about them. As a lifelong animal lover I want future generations to be able to get to know and love these animals too, which is why 10% from every sale is always donated to wildlife conservation. We fundraise for a new wildlife org every two months and so far have raised over £200 just this year!
