How enamel pins are made

Each enamel colour is added to the pin separately into the area where I've specified on my design (this is done either by a machine or by hand!). The pins are also baked (that's what makes the enamel go hard!) and dipped in gold so the plating is the right colour and then polished down so it's one smooth surface! Then they're checked in the factory before being packed and sent to me where I check them again. It's loads of work and I'm so thankful to my pin manufacturers for their amazing work!⁠
