A super simplified goblin shark for today. Goblin sharks live in deep water and are the only extant species left in their scientific family which dates back to 125 million years ago, making the goblin shark a living fossil!
The IUCN currently lists the goblin shark at least concern but this could change as it has been found that goblin sharks will eat manmade items that it comes across.
