Learn about Tasmanian devils with me!
These adorable animals are the world's largest carnivorous marsupial and have a super strong bite which is enough to shatter bone! They hunt frogs, birds and even fish and store fat in their tails.
Sadly in the 1800s tasmanian devils were considered pests and were nearly hunted to extinction. In the 1990s their numbers fell again due to a rare cancer that affects their faces which causes them to be unable to eat.
Tasmanian devils are now a protected species in Australia and classified as endangered by the IUCN.
