Love Butterfly Challenge: American Painted Lady
Butterfly number 4! The American Painted Lady. I’m super happy with this one. Something about that orange and black combo is super satisfying.
American Painted Lady butterflies can be distinguished by other painted lady butterfly species by the white spots in the orange portion of their wing as seen from the dorsal side. Hilariously when I saw this fact it made me realise I forgot to paint two black portions of the butterfly 🙈 Good thing I checked!
