Lunar new year
Not long to go now before the lunar year of the tiger starts!
When I was a kid my Popo (maternal grandmother) would always spend a week preparing for the new lunar year. Buying groceries and cleaning the house. It's actually bad luck to clean on the new year because it's thought that you sweep all the good luck away so all the cleaning is done beforehand!
Are you planning on celebrating? We'll be having noodles which is our family tradition as they represent a long life!
