March Meet The Maker : Small Details
Today’s prompt for #MarchMeetTheMaker is “small details”.
Out of everything I’ve made to date I think this sticker in particular had the most tiny details. I spent ages looking at reference images to make sure I was getting the stripes to lie the right way to give that illusion of a curve - especially towards the tail. It’s super important to me to get details on animals right because it’s remarkably easy to accidentally create a whole new species by forgetting a particular identifying mark or pattern (true story, I’ve had to reorder stickers before because I forgot to add a particular key detail 🤦🏻♀️).
If you look carefully at the leaves you’ll notice that every leaf has a little bit of detail (on the paler ones it’s less clear but it is there!) and they’re also 3 of each leaf type - because it’s just so much more appealing to me to have things in 3s.
So there you have it! All the tiny details in one little 8x8cm sticker!
