Have we met before?
It's been a while since I've done a good ol' fashioned intro post and there's a few new faces here (hi! Thanks for being here!) so I thought we'd start off this week with a little intro!
Hi! If we haven't met before, I'm Tash and I'm the animal loving, coffee drinking, small business person behind Hatchling Makes! I'm based in London, UK where I work out of a small home studio and I love it more than anything else in the world.
Most of my illustrations feature endangered animals. Why endangered animals? Well whilst doing the 100 Day Project back in 2018 I found out that giraffes had silently been added to the endangered list! I had absolutely no idea and I knew that others probably didn't as well. It was in that moment that I knew I wanted to do everything I could to help endangered animals and to raise awareness for the more unusual species facing extinction. That's also why I donate 10% from every sale I make - both in person and online - to wildlife conservation orgs. So far my customers have raised over £1,124.63 for conservation!
