Meet The Maker Day 5
Prompt 5 for #MeetTheMakerWeek (or 4 if you’re doing them in order) is 2020 silver linings! I know, I know, it seems laughable right? But there definitely has been some great stuff happening in 2020.
This year has been the best so far for my indie biz. Despite Covid and lockdowns and cancelled markets, I’ve been so lucky to have this space on the internet where you’ve all been supporting me. And because of that support we’ve raised an amazing £472.58 in 2020 for wildlife conservation!
In a year where so many charitable organisations have had to cancel their annual fundraisers and seen less people donate due to funding, this is such a huge milestone. And we aren’t even finished with 2020 yet. My goal is to get us to £500 by the end of the year - that’d be £200 more than we raised in the entire of 2019! Do you think we can do it?
