Saola in gouache
After yesterday’s reintroduction to gouache I figured it would be good to get back into practicing with them. So this week I’ve set aside time to play with painting again. I’m also hoping to practice lining with Indian ink because quite frankly it scares me a little and I hate being that person who never uses their art supplies.
Today’s animal is the saola, also known as the Asian unicorn. So little is known about it as it was only discovered in 1992 and so it has the unenviable title of being one of the rarest large mammals in the world.
What are you all up to this week?
