Sea angel enamel pin
How cute is this little sea angel?
Sea angels are a type of sea slug but are not (as far as I've been able to research) related to nudibranchs. Their "wings" are actually modified feet that the sea angel uses to propel itself through the water. At one point sea angels and sea butterflies were thought to be the same species however that's been proven to not be the case as sea butterflies are actually preyed upon by sea angels (and sea butterflies retain their shell. Imagine a garden snail, swimming upside down, with two wings).
Sea angel pins are launching TOMORROW in the shop update (or today if you're a VIP!)
