Yellow-eyed Penguin
Throwback to a little work in progress from my rainbow zine last week! I love this little guy!
The yellow-eyed penguin is native to New Zealand, it's the 4th largest penguin in the world and the largest that doesn't live in Antartica. It's thought that they are the most ancient penguin species and they are endangered, with a population under 3,500 individuals. Ferrets, cats and even people take their eggs which is causing their population decline.
